The Systems and Logistics Integration Capability Workbench of softwareproducts is designed to satisfy the requirements of various Department ofDefense Military Standards which govern the weapon system acquisitionprocess. The SLIC Workbench, a CALS and CITIS compliant system, consistsof a growing number of logistics and concurrent engineering softwaretools designed to operate as an integrated system in multiple computerenvironments. The SLIC Workbench currently includes: SLIC/2A, SLIC/FMECA,SLIC/LORA, SLIC/COST, and SLIC/TRADE. Additional SLIC Workbench productsare currently in development.The SLIC MIL-STD-1388-2B LSAR system (SLIC/2B) is a state-of-the-artrelational LSAR database system which fulfills all the requirements ofMIL-STD-1388-2B. SLIC/2B was the first MIL-STD-1388-2B LSAR system toachieve validation by DoD (MRSA). It has been in production use sinceJuly 1992 and is currently installed at over 125 customer locationsaround the world.SLIC/2A fully satisfies the requirements of MIL-STD-1388-2A and is acompletely redeveloped and significantly enhanced version of itspredecessor, the SLIC microcomputer-based Type III LSAR system that alsofully complied with MIL-STD-1388-2A.
